I turn off music in almost every game. In Pathologic I could not. How loud these tracks are by default in the game and how weird they are just got me way too curious. Then I thought by the time I finished the game I had enough of these tracks.... nope... here I am.

Love Ice Pick Lodge and these weird/supernatural/cozy/esoteric eastern European games like _The Void_ or _Pathologic._ Wouldn't count the _S.T.A.L.K.E.R._ series in this genre, but still eastern European game series I love. Regardless, these game's worlds/soundtracks always give me this weird/dream-like Coziness, same feeling I get when I remember weird/peaceful dreams I'd have involving the area I lived. Where things are off, but just enough that your unconscious mind doesn't see them as weird until you wake up. Nothing threatening or scary, just the vague location you live in and things changed here and there. The layout is the same, but the streets are longer and new things added etc. Always enjoyed that.
